Civilian Style is fashion for the real world. Every time I travel, I am reminded that the majority of people work hard, like to look good, and don't drop 5K on a handbag. Most people use clothing to express something about themselves, so fashion should connect with normal people! Fashion magazines are great for escaping reality into the world of the celebrity rich but I wanted to touch on more realistic, creative and unique fashion options. Vintage fashion, upcycling clothing, and thrifty online shopping are easy inexpensive solutions for the modern economy. If designers constantly "recreate" past trends anyway, then why pay ridiculous prices for retro fashion ideas?
