- Find your pleated mom pants. Make sure they fit comfortably on your waist as vintage pants run very small at the waistline.
- Take the leg seams in at the very bottom. This will taper the leg even more and suddenly give them a more modern, fashion forward feel. The opening should be small, small enough to hold the pant leg right above your ankle.
- For the style below, I salvaged two art deco-ish embellishments from a vintage dress and stitched them on the waistband.
