Looking for a DIY sweater project? Well me too! In my search to find great upcycling ideas for sweaters, I found lots of wacky patchwork sweater cardigans but few really wearable options. This tutorial is a wonderfully refreshing break from more costumey sweater refashions. It will be cool again before you know it so now is the time to start planning your DIY must-dos for Fall.
All you need to complete this project is a thrifted hoodie sweater, scissors and a sewing machine. Simply cut as the author shows and sew up the edges, easy as pumpkin pie! (I don't bake but I THINK pumpkin pie is easy...) I have a great collection of upcycled sweaters coming soon, so check out civilianstyle.net to shop! Do you have a great upcycling tutorial? Please comment with a link to your blog and share your creativity. Have a great week!
